To Love or Not to Love, Is it Really a Question?

Oh yeah, we're going there again :).  We all know there are countless books and products about love available to anyone who wants more information.  It seems that everyone has the answers and just as many have questions.  Love is a funny thing and no human is exempt in their quest to find it.  We are born into this world oblivious to many needs outside of our need for food and love.  We innately know we need both!

Food is probably the easiest need to satisfy for the most part unless you live in a poverty stricken environment but love keeps many searching for it their entire lives.  Unfortunately, this need can be neglected and abused in so many ways that it leaves many of us struggling to sift through the rubble of our wounded emotions to find the truth.  Then you tie in Jesus' commandment for us to love one another.  How, you ask?

This is a loaded question and many people ask it time and time again.  Furthermore, don't even mention loving someone who has hurt you or betrayed your trust!  We as women struggle really hard with moving past this one.  Am I really supposed to love someone who doesn't love me?  What about loving the person who grates on your last nerve or spreads a malicious lie that cost you your reputation?  These are just some of the questions we will tackle this Sunday night during our late night girlfriend chat.  So, if you don't mind putting on your pajamas, stripping off your mask, letting your hair down, and getting really really real, then our radio show is just the place for you and quite frankly it's for you even if you don't.  Send your questions to contact@christcenteredhomemag.com if you'd like to have them answered on the air or chat with us live during the show.  We are going to share and learn more about how to love others the way Jesus commanded because believe it or not, it can be done.  See you there!
